These cutting-edge glasses are designed to provide real-time information based on what the wearer sees, offering a hands-free alternative to traditional visual search tools like Google Lens.
So, why do glasses need ChatGPT? Solos aims to revolutionize the way we interact with our environment by integrating advanced AI into everyday eyewear. The AirGo Vision can recognize people, objects, landmarks, and even provide walking directions, price checks, and more. For instance, wearers can capture photos hands-free and ask the glasses for information, such as the next step in a recipe or where to purchase a specific item. The glasses are capable of handling multiple queries simultaneously. An example from Solos’ press announcement demonstrates this capability: “What am I looking at, and how much does it cost? Is there a better price somewhere else?”
The AirGo Vision offers versatility with swappable frames, allowing users to choose whether they want smart glasses with a front camera or without. Additionally, a built-in LED notification light discreetly alerts users to notifications. The AirGo Vision is set to be available later this year, with three styles of LED-only frames releasing in July at an MSRP of $249.99.
